Help with Powerlink Generator

I followed all of the instructions from Mike's video. Everything seems to work... UNTIL...
I create a campaign... success but when I type in the url that is supposed to be redirected to the long affiliate one, it does not work. I only get a 404 page error.

It seems like the redirecting script is not working. How do I fix this?

I'm having the same problem ...

Everything installed as per instructions, all permissions updated and rechecked, new campaigns added without incident, but 404 errors when I try to click any of the PLG links,

Deleted everything and started over, just to be sure, but still no good.

I'm trying to use the 'new' system that uyses the htaccess file ... anyone else had problems with that?

I saved the index.php file as instructed and uplaoded that, plus the htaccess file from the uplaods directory, but it appears that's not rewriting correctly?

Any ideas or suggestions much appreciated!

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM.

I've used powerlink generator for years, but I went to install it on a new domain it 404s EVERY link I create.

PLEASE HELP WITH THIS ASAP!

I ended up trying the 'old' method using folders ... and eventually got that to work after moving my wordpress installation to it's own directory. Ther WP rewrite rules were conflicting with the PLG rules under the old system.

I'm not sure if that was the problem on the first attempt but if you're got WP or anythnig else with it's own 'rewrite' rules installed it might be worth checking.

There's a lot more discussion on this in hte MF software forum, you might find an answer there. Though the standard answer seems to be try the old system ...
