Look at these Survey Results (inside)

Posted by Mike Filsaime November 30, 2006 11:32 pm

Hi Guys,

Mike Filsaime here…

As you may know, with the "Death of Internet Marketing" report, I did a survey
and received thousands of responses back from marketers currently online.

What was interesting to me was this survey question.

——————————
** How Long Have You Been Marketing Online?

0-6 months 41.47%
6 Months – 1 year 17.59%

——————————

**Result**
59.06% of people surveyed have been online for less than year -

And OVER 4 out of every 10 are new to online marketing within just the last 6
months.

This means that people are coming in at a very rapid pace.

Also, of all the people surveyed, here is some more data collected.

——————————
I am a Marketing Newbie: 23.53%
I know the basics – Having trouble: 22.87%
I can barley surf the web: 4.15%

——————————

So over 50% of the marketers see themselves as a newbie or state that they are
having trouble.

As I talk with Joe, my new apprentice in office, many things have occurred to me
in the last 6 weeks since he started with me.

When I say things like "SEO, Squeeze Page, Header Graphic, Click Thru Rate,
Domain Name" etc..

… He is always like, "Mike, slow down. Go back please and explain to me
what you mean when you say xyz
."

In fact, just yesterday, I told him to create and account in a discussion forum.
When he got there, he was not even sure how to click on a post in the forum.

This information, complied with the results of the recent survey, shed light on
something that was very revealing to me.

So many times, marketers… myself included, create great information products
for marketers.

What is interesting to note, is while this information is very good… It does
no good if you have not been able to at least master the basics yet.

Don’t you agree?

And also, I think it just creates too much fluff if everyone of these products
is written for a complete newbie.

We hope the newbie has mastered "some" of the basics to take advantage of the
advanced strategies included in these step by step course.

In fact, one of the hottest products in clickbank right now was written like
this. This product, "Project x" had ZERO fluff.

And half the people loved that.

The problem was, Chris the owner, had small issues with the other half. Maybe
you? The newbie.

So just 2 days ago, he had to release a video showing people how to do things
like "Sign up at ClickBank"

Know what?

2 Months ago I would have been like, "Come On. really, you need to do that for
some people?"

But after listening to Joe, and reading the survey, it has become clear to me.

Newbie’s need to learn Basic things for themselves to make it through some great
ebooks and software.

*** This is where is gets interesting…

…Just yesterday, I was in a forum.

I saw a post from Marlon Sanders. Yes, the legendary Marlon Sanders.

I went to the site, and…

I was so dang impressed that I PAID FOR IT on the spot.

I did not email Marlon for a review copy. I wanted it.

And you know what. It was 1AM when I purchased.

Next thing you know, it is 3:30 AM and I glued to my PC learning things, on
video, using free products, that I never knew how to do myself.

One thing in there, showed me how to automate orders with AWeber and PayPal that
I never knew you could do.

And I OWN a private label to AWeber called ProSender!!

What he showed me in just 6 screen shots got me so thrilled I could not wait to
change my process this morning.

But I had to go to bed. I knew I wanted to share this with you, as there is a
50% chance this is EXACTLY what you need to break through the noise and start
making sense of so many other great products on your hard drive and bookshelf,
and the ones to come.

Take a look at what this does and the importance on web design, hosting, HTML
editors (do not get scared) and integration with auto responders etc..

For web design:

Do you need help with..

* Web sites?
* Sales pages?
* Mini sites?
* Blog graphics?
* Affiliate pre-sell pages?
* Landing pages?

How about this…

You point. You click. You follow the big blue numbers. What could be simpler?

It’s A to Z. All step-by-step screen caps supported by videos where needed. It’s
a MASSIVE time saver and literally takes the pain out of the learning curve.

OK… Let me explain what else it TEACHES you to do:

Your Fast End Result:

a. Your own custom web site graphics that are a cut above

b. You will do your own header graphics faster than you may imagine

c. You will know how to do special effects like scan lines and handwritten notes

d. You will be able to trick out templates you buy or create your own

e. You save costs
(No Photoshop CS or Dreamweaver needed)

f. You will get step-be-step instructions on ftp, getting your shopping cart up,
hooking up your Autoresponders, stick letters, fly ins, and every other detail
we could think of.

g. Saves you the costs of design fees. At $150-$300 per header, just ONE and
you’ve paid for this product.

h. Even if you still use a designer, there are times when you need it NOW, not
later. You 100% can do it yourself and be surprised at how good a job you DID!

i. You can create your OWN templates just as good as many of ‘em you buy — and
do it fast, once you learn the steps.

j. Most templates are NOT designed for "our type" of sites. So they’re never
quite right. You can do it yourself, get a better result AND save.

But MIKE!…SHOULDN’T I OUTSOURCE?

I disagree with the "outsource everything" view for beginners!

YES, you build a business. But in the BEGINNING, there are times you must learn
to do it yourself.

I did most everything myself early on. And as the money came in, I, later, hired
people to help out. After I knew what needed to be done so I had a handle on the
quality. (Inspect what you Expect…)

So who is this for?

IF…

you are a newbie, and are looking for the product of products, with videos, to
help you get to that critical FIRST step,

THEN…

This is the product for you.

I am not going to hide around the price. The darn thing is $59. I mean this, if
you do not WANT to invest $59 to get to the next level, then you do not belong
in this game.

If you do not have the money, I understand. $59 can be a lot when you do not
have it.

But if you DO have it, and you are one of the:

"I know the basics – Having trouble: 22.87% " there is no logical reason why you
should not get this product.

Who is this not for?

Well, maybe if you are making a full time living already, and you go thru things
like a hot knife thru butter on the first read and make money the next day, (and
many of you do), this "may" not be the product for you.

I say "may" not, because, for $59 bucks, I consider myself to be one of those
"hot knife" people, BUT, I still found about 8-10 real TRUE gems that will
really help me out.

I found the learning fun and I could not get home on time after playing around
with it.

I am not asking you to "check it out."

I am suggesting, that if you are one of the newbie’s, (and that is for YOU to
decide,) then you really do need to buy this product now and put everything else
aside today and go thru it.

Hard sell?

No- Strong Advise!

You see, I get told all the time, and I see it on forums,

"..there should be a place for Newbie’s to start. You guys all assume we
know this already. You were once a newbie too."

So true, but it can be done free. But for $59, to shorten the learning curve in
just one place… I can not give you better advise.

Sometimes free things waste your time. You need to sort out what is good by
making mistakes sometimes.

When it comes to this product, Marlon Sanders is one of the best guys to learn
from and he has been around  for many years.

Take it from me. This is THE product for Newbie’s if anyone was to ask me. And I
really thought his price would be higher. He knows the target market and he was
extremely fair (more than) with the pricing.

Marlon does not even know I am promoting this. I was just so impressed I want to
get it in the hands of the people that need it.

    Mike,

I’m one of the “newbies” that sometimes think I have the basics down but when I go to start something I find that there are alot small details that I don’t understand and that seems to be what is holding me up because then I have to spend alot of time researching what I don’t know and by the time I’ve done that I’m screen burnt and and have a heavy case of info overload. So needless to say it’s very hard to get very much done in alittle time. Maybe I need to come off the $59. I’m going to check it out.

    Thanks for the info.

As usual your insight is right on. The difference between you and me is as simple as taking action.

Yes, I have been noticing that also. There are a lot of new people on the
internet, and we sometimes tend to forget that with all the advanced marketing
information, but giving the new marketers basic information is just as well worth
    it.

Sometimes its hard to remember what it was like when you were a newbie when you have “got it” and know the lingo. I learn something new whenever I revisit the old basic materials I have.
